  • The first half of Lord of Life’s by-laws were presented and approved.
  • Pictures for the LoL Directory have finally been sent from the photographers; Sherry Sejnost presented a draft of the directory format.
  • Treasures in the Trunk fundraiser has been postponed until next year due to conflicts with dates and volunteer availability.
  • Property Committee will investigate then purchase of a rain barrel in order to save on water.
  • The plastic bag collection will continue, but a volunteer “Adopt a Bag” collection team will be organized to transport bags to Jewel.
  • The LCW Picnic with a free will offering is scheduled for September 24th.
  • The designated food collection alternating between Mt Carmel and Fish is held on the first of each month. The collection for August is Aug collection is bars of soap for FISH.
  • Council has set a policy for birthdays celebrations with cards and a cake for any LoL member who reaches 90, 95 and 100 years of age.
