All in all LoL can be proud of the plastic bags we have collected and the benches that have been created from them. BUT, our job is not done. Why? Because collecting them:

  • Gives us another beautiful, free bench
  • Is a “green” thing to do and helps keep the world’s trash heaps free of plastic
  • Welcomes the surrounding community to come to LoL, learn about us and, perhaps, join us

BUT, dragging those mounds of plastic bags needs HELP. So, please consider volunteering to a take a trip to our local Jewel with a batch of bags. Sign up in the narthex for your trip time and join our “Adopt a Bag Brigade.”
